These jars are exactly what I wanted. As described, they do not come with lids, which was fine with me. There was no packing material in between the jars when they shipped, which caused one jar to break. The seller was great about shipping out a replacement jar, which to my surprise ended up being another case of 12 (one of which was broken in shipping, due to the same packing issue). Nevertheless, the jars are great. Just be prepared for a jar or two to arrive broken.
