Prepared healthy version of Nutella with this and turned out very delicious!!!Great flavor, easy to spread. It does separate but a quick stir solves that easily. I like it on pancakes in the morning with a little maple syrup. I put in on as they come out of the pan and get plated. It melts into wonderful layers of hazelnut deliciousness! It gave a strong enough flavour and that is what was most important to me! I had tried other brands but the flavour from those simply did not come through. With this, I don't have to add a ton and the taste is very distinctive. I even made vegan ferrero rochers with this! I do a lot of vegan desserts which I post about on instagram so I'm always looking for the right ingredients that I can combine to make a dairy free version of the element. This hazelnut butter finally met the mark.Dear VOR: I ordered nut butter from your company for the first time ever. I was extremely excited b/c I had never tasted these nut butters before, nor knew that these specific nut butters existed. As per my excitement, I ordered 2 hazelnut butters and 2 walnut butters. However, I received only 1 hazelnut butter and 1 walnut butter. I did open both packages and tried both butters - they are very liquid in consistency. I ordered nut butter NOT nut oil. The consistency I got in this package is thick opaque colored oil. I stirred it a lot and placed it in the refrigerator - still it remains a liquid oily consistency. Upon vigorous stirring it does not alter into a thicker consistency. I understand that separation from oil and butter is natural; however this WHOLE container is OILY. Please see pics above. It looks soupy, not buttery consistency.I am not happy with the quality of this product and would like to return both of these to you. No need to parcel the other 2 that I ordered, paid, and did not receive. I contacted Amazon and they said that I am unable to return this item back to them and that I need to contact the manufacturer. Please send me a UPS return label so that I can return these back to you. They are OILS not nut butters as you advertised them to be. I honestly could care less about the refund. I just wanted other people to know so they won't waste their money like I did. I thought I could keep it and use it as oil to cook, but there is a thickness to this that I really can't even cook it as oil. I'm totally frustrated with these 2 nut butters. :(It's a pretty good hazelnut butter. It is on the runny end of the spectrum and a bit grainy instead of smooth and creamy. Think of tahini and that will almost be the viscosity you'll get with this product. The graininess reminds me of the texture of deli mustard. There is the slightly bitter aftertaste that comes from eating hazelnuts. A good grind of salt makes it more palatable if you are eating it plain, but having it natural as it is in the jar makes it much more adaptable for use in a variety of recipes. For what I want to use it for, it fits the bill.I like this product. I suggest to get creative with it: I took some creamy Mascarpone cheese, mixed with a dab of honey, added a little bit of that Hazelnut Butter Spread and it created a wonderful bread spread applied to my morning toast. It resulted in wonderful flavor that was delicious to eat. When this arrived, I was eager to try it and there was no oil on the top to pour off. In retrospect, I should have let it sit for a couple of days at room temperature and poured off the oil as the texture is so runny that it was difficult to eat. Ran off the edge of crackers and squeezed out of sandwich.I will try another brand. Too much trouble and clean-up.I wanted to make low carb nutella but every recipe I tried was a struggle because it’s so hard to grind hazelnuts that smoothly at home — even with a vitamix, nut butters are too viscous to blend well!I couldn’t find hazelnut butter anywhere so I found this listing. Even after I asked and was assured it would be smooth, I wasn’t sure, but ordered it anyway.Well, I’m glad I did! It’s not only very smooth, but fairly runny too, which means if you want to add some salt, cocoa powder, sweetener, and dried milk, you get pretty close to Nutella.By the way, I think another reviewer described the taste as “bland” because this hazelnut butter is unsalted and most people are used to salted nut butters. Just add a little salt and it’s good on its own!
